Welcome to Ille et Vilaine 35, Brittany
Ideally situated at less than half an hour from St Malo, Dinard, Mont St Michel, Dinan, Rennes and Fougeres, the camping municipal of Combourg is tucked away on the south banks of the lake.
Combourg Castle which dominates the medieval city of a remarkable architectural heritage, mirrors itself in the Quiet Lake, as it was named by Francois Rene de Chateaubriand in his famous “Memories from beyond the grave”.
The 70 places on this charming family camping, welcome tents, camping–cars and caravans in bucolic surroundings but you can also holiday in our recent mobile-homes if you wish to profit from the joys of camping with extra comfort.
A member of the network Little cities of character in Brittany and the network Green Station, Combourg offers calmness and serenity after your escapades to The Bay of Mont St Michel.
By holidaying at the britain camping, you have access to culture and heritage but also to the leisure activities close by : Zoo, fun parks, aquarium, beaches, the canals and the sea, horse riding, walking, bicycle (Combourg has the label Bicycle Touring Town).
